Windows Phone 7.5 (Codenamed 'Mango') is a major software update for Windows Phone the new smartphone OS by Microsoft. It was announced on May 24 2011 - when Microsoft gave an in-depth preview of the update which is scheduled to be released in mid-October. Steve Ballmer said a short while before the May 24th event that there will be over 500 features but only a few were unveiled at the May 24th event.
